We understood that the field of electronics and communications is a quick paced field developing rather fast and bringing forth numerous worthy opportunities, and so we have set up the most advanced and state of the art department for ECE at VISAT. We intake about 60 students per year following stringent examinations and model them into top class engineers. We have top-notch laboratories that are fully fledged and our staff is selected following thorough consideration. Our teaching methodologies are extensive and include different techniques such as workshops, guest lectures, seminars by industry experts, and other professionals etc. We aim to create a holistic learning experience for the students and encourage practical learning above all else. We follow the prescribed curriculum of the KTU and supplement it further knowledge of our own. We have exercised efforts into ensuring that this department is all set to prepare students to meet the demands of the most challenging and advanced technologies of this era. Electronics and Communication is a dynamic and thriving field offering a multitude of opportunities for successful careers across different parts of the world and we are honored to be shaping our students to match up to the global expectations of standards from professionals in this field. We offer different add-on courses for interested students. B.Tech (4 year) in Electronics and Communication Engineering, being established in 2008, having intake of 60 at present, has many feathers on its cap. This department is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education , Government of India and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. ECE department has well experienced staff members who nurture the professional growth of young budding engineers. Faculty members are not only teaching, they are molding them as professionals.
